Launching A Green Marketing Campaign

Grace Carlson, APR, LEED GA and president of Carlson Studio Marketing will offer insights and strategies to effectively market your green building projects, Thursday, June 3 at 11:30 at Landry’s on the Causeway.

Carlson Studio Marketing is a public relations and marketing communications corporation, co-located with Carlson Studio Architecture, in a re-purposed historic building in downtown Sarasota that earned LEED-CI Silver certification in 2007.  The firm specializes in helping companies and organizations leverage sustainable initiatives to accomplish integrated PR & marketing communications’ objectives.  In this lively lunch hour discussion attendees will  receive a “What to Know Before You Launch a ‘Green’ PR Campaign” primer, learn how to target messages to stand out from the crowd and get noticed; avoid the perception of greenwashing and obtain real-world action plan steps to successfully marketing a green project.

Grace Carlson, APR, LEED GA is an accredited public relations professional with the Florida Public Relations Association and Public Relations Society of America.  Carlson’s career includes a diverse breadth of marketing communications experience.  She serves her community through appointments on the Sarasota County School Board Business Advisory Council and the Myakka River Branch of the U.S. Green Building Council.  She is the current Advocacy Chair of the Sarasota Unit of the American Cancer Society and is the Communications Chair of the Sarasota County Democratic Party.
