Tour of The Beck Group's LEED Certified Regional Headquarters and Walking Tour of the City of Tampa's Water Works Park Brownfield Redevelopment 

Join the USGBC Florida Gulf Coast Chapter Tampa Bay Branch for an educational tour of The Beck Group's LEED Certified Regional Headquarters in the Heights neighborhood followed by a walking tour and detailed overview of the adjacent City of Tampa's Water Works Parkwhich was recently redeveloped through the City's brownfield program.

Presenters:

Joe Harrington, AIA, Principal with The Beck Group, will highlight green-building principles and discuss the LEED Certification process for this beautiful, efficient office building.

Dan Fahey, Engineer II with the City of Tampa, will provide a walking tour of the City's newest park along the beautiful Tampa Riverwalk. Dan will review the environmental remediation work that was performed to restore this historic site, while also discussing the application process and available tax incentives for brownfield site designations.

Additional Notes:

  • Parking is available in the Beck parking lot on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional street parking is available as well.
  • Attendees will meet at the Beck lobby, on the 2nd floor of the building. 
  • Following the educational programs and tours, join the Tampa Bay Branch's volunteer leadership for some high-quality GREENworking somewhere tbd on Tampa's Riverwalk.
