Be sure to get on your calendar April's timely program hosted by the Tampa Bay Branch! April's luncheon will feature a panel discussion concerning green-building ratings systems. Amongst topics covered will be LEED, the Living Building Challenge, and the 2030 Challenge.  




Panelists:

* Sean Williams, AIA, NCARB, LEED BD+C, will be speaking on Living Building Challenge. Sean is an accomplished Architect with 10+ years of progressive experience and comprehensive knowledge/expertise in LEED sustainable design and Biomimicry principles. He is the principal of OT9 Design, an architectural design studio located in St. Petersburg, and a longtime volunteer with the USGBC.
* Al LaPera, CxA, EMP, LEED BD+C, O&M, GGP, will be speaking on 2030 Challenge. With 37 years of professional experience, Al has worked on a broad range of building types including educational, healthcare and commercial facilities. Al is a Senior Energy Consultant with TLC Engineering for Architecture, as well as the firm's first Living Building Challenge Ambassador. He also is a longstanding volunteer with the USGBC. 
* Josh Bomstein, LEED AP BD+C, will be speaking on LEED. Josh is President of Creative Contractors, a leading commercial contractor headquartered in Clearwater and building throughout West Central Florida. Recognized as one of the “40 Under 40” by the Gulf Coast Business Review, Josh is active in the Tampa Bay community and is also a longtime volunteer with the USGBC.
