Sustainability in Southwest Florida 

Come join us and hear from three of our planning professionals.  Jason Utley, LEED AP is a Senior Planner with the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council.  He will provide a historical perspective on land use and development in the six county Southwest Florida Region.  Challenges to long term sustainability will be identified.  Julia Galofre, LEED AP BD+C, GGP, Assoc. AIA, FGBC Certifying Agent and member of the FGBC Board of Directors is Charlotte County’s Sustainability Specialist.  She will discuss Charlotte County’s sustainability implementation efforts and the Charlotte County Green Building Ordinance.  Tessa LeSage, MPA, LEED AP BD+C is Lee County’s Manager of Sustainability Programs.  She will outline Lee County’s efforts to incorporate sustainability into all levels of Lee County Government.
