ND 201: LEED for Neighborhood Development: Sustainability Beyond Buildings - Strategies for Urban Infill & Brownfield Redevelopment

USGBC has been testing the strengths and weaknesses of LEED for Neighborhood Development through nearly 240 pilot projects over the course of two years. Hear from two pilot case studies about lessons learned and best practices that have helped inform revisions to the rating system. Presenters will briefly describe the pilot project they have worked on, identify implementation challenges, and review areas where the rating system influences project decision making.

This session is approved for 1.5 hours of LEED Specific (ND) GBCI hours in Project Site Factors as well as 1.5 AIA/CES LU/HSW/SD hours.
