LEED 2009 Online: Strategies, Myths and Solutions
Speaker: Advait Mantri, LEED AP, BD&C

This will be an interactive presentation with an industry expert in the newer version of LEED 2009. This was the first major change to the rating system in three years.  Some changes were small like the combining some of the standards – NC, Schools, Core and Shell into one type. Some were bigger like giving weighted points, Regional Priority credits, and Pilot Credits.  Do you have questions about what all this means? Then send your questions to Advait before March 1 and he will have the answers for you in person.

Submit questions to Advait at advait61@yahoo.com.

A Founding Member and Past President of the Chapter, Advait Mantri has been involved with USGBC, GBCI and LEED in the Tampa Bay area since 2003.  He has been a project team member on 23 LEED Certified Projects including 3 Platinum and 13 Gold that include New Construction, Core & Shell, Commercial Interiors, EBOM and Schools.  As a former LEED Certification Reviewer with GBCI in Washington, DC, he provides a unique perspective to project teams on the Certification process.  In that role he certified the first LEED project in Scandinavia, the first Platinum project in the Middle East; was part of the teams that trained the new Certification Bodies (CBs) at Greenbuild in 2009 and set up GBC Italia in 2010.
