O+M 203: Establishing a Culture of Performance: Part I: Establishment

In this first session, we’ll explore the establishment requirements of the LEED for Existing Buildings: O+M rating system. Our subject matter experts will discuss how to assess your project’s physical assets and create policies and plans that will set a project up for success. By first understanding foundational and static establishment requirements, teams can ensure their approach is most effective before entering the performance period. This session is aimed at both new construction and existing buildings project teams.

 Session Objectives

  • Recognize how to apply LEED to the life of an existing building project
  • Identify the best order of operations and schedule to implement LEED for Existing Buildings
  • Define foundational and static establishment requirements
  • Identify importance of team members and stakeholder and their roles
  • Recognize the connection between LEED credits for new construction to existing buildings
