2009 tbarta.jpgTBARTA MASTER PLAN
After more than a year of intensive research and planning, the Tampa Bay Area Regional Transit Authority (TBARTA) recently finalized their proposed mass transit master plan. TBARTA was established to plan and eventually develop and operate a light rail system with the seven county Tampa Bay Area. Robert Clifford, the Executive Director of TBARTA, will present their overall plan and its benefits to the seven county region. The investment in mass transit is vital to both the growth of Bay area economies as new industries are courted and the increased quality of life that additional transportation options will offer both our retired and working citizens. Robert will also present the committee’s recommendations to maintain the momentum into the necessary funding and implementation phases. By attending this program you will have a better understanding of the mass transit options envisioned for Tampa Bay and you will learn how your feedback and support can influence this long-term process.

Join us to contribute to this critical infrastructure discussion! The program will be held Tuesday, August the 11th
