LUNCH and LEARN SERIES

Graphic1.JPGMany businesses and industry circles have traditionally been very dependent on paper based correspondence and record keeping. The construction related industry is a particularly paper intensive industry, with drawings, submittals, manuals, and administrative records being  core components of the process. While technology over the past 30 years has become an integral part of a construction company’s business process, whether it be estimating software, project management tools, or accounting practices, paperwork still commonly abounds. However, the best-of-class construction companies are “Going Paperless” as a means to increase their profits. These contractors are doing so by reducing the cost of handling and storing paper and automating paper-intensive workflows.

Our presenter is Chris Jordan of Paperless Environments, paperless.jpg LLC, a Baton Rouge based company that provides electronic content management and workflow software to the construction industry.  Paperless Environments' solutions are developed specifically to solve the unique problems of receiving, processing, routing, storing, and distributing construction documents.  With the founder of Paperless Environments, LLC being a former industrial sector contractor, their core mission is to increase business profits by reducing the cost and increase the efficiency of handling paper.
